DESCRIPTION:Unlike your typical RenFaire we tend to focus on real-world activities centered on a pre-1600 cultural theme. For this event\, our theme is Ancient Embers\, Greek and Egyptian culture. Everyone is encouraged to participate\, whether you’re sitting in a knitting circle or throwing an axe. We will have weaving classes\, history classes\, a Greek-Minoan inspired lunch\, children’s activities\, arts competitions and displays for people to enjoy including medieval style fighting for authorized individuals.\nPre-registration is encouraged in order to help plan for lunch. We also require attendees to make an attempt at medieval clothing and have tabards available for loan at the gate. Attendees are asked to sign a waiver at the gate upon check-in so that they are covered by our insurance.
